Our Comprehensive Approach

Our Menstrual Hygiene Campaign improves the health and well-being of women by providing iron & folic acid tablets, hemoglobin tests, and deworming treatments. We also offer life skills training and menstrual hygiene education, ensuring women have the knowledge and resources they need.

By addressing these critical areas, we promote gender equality and enhance health outcomes for women in our communities.

FAQs about Menstrual Hygiene

first flow

Menstrual hygiene refers to the practice of maintaining cleanliness and managing menstruation in a healthy and hygienic manner.
Proper menstrual hygiene helps prevent infections, maintains comfort, and promotes overall well-being during menstruation.
Menstrual pads should be changed every 4 to 6 hours, while tampons should be changed every 4 to 8 hours, depending on flow.
It is recommended to use mild, fragrance-free soap and warm water to clean the genital area during menstruation. Avoid harsh soaps or scented products that may disrupt the natural pH balance.
Wrap used pads or tampons in paper or biodegradable bags before disposing of them in a trash bin. Avoid flushing them down the toilet, as it can cause blockages.
